In fairness, they were in Sweden!  And there are drinks holders built in to the forward end of the cockpit table.

It's probably a spinnaker halyard caught on the rail of a passing Princess 76.

I remember sailing to Ballycastle NI and got the tide completely wrong and ended up like that 

Certainly was Adrenalin pumping in a 15 ft swell

Close hauled, 15-18 knots full rig, B40 Cr will look like that. it is fun too!

Back in 2007 a sailing school yacht was trying it out in the marina, but the gate was leaking and they got stuck as the tide went out. They were still smiling afterwards though !!
