Nigel,

I sent you a message.  If you still have these switches I'd like to buy 10.

I just realized I hadn't sent the money yet...need some memory cells!  Just sent it, hope you still have ten left.  Thanks for doing this.

Hi Nigel, are you able to do expedited shipping by chance? We are in San Diego, leaving next weekend for Mexico where mail is impossible to get. So it would need to reach us by Friday... Possible?

Just a note that I'm not at home at the moment, will sort out when I return later in the week.

Thanks Nigel- that answers my question on the expedited shipping then. No worries, I'll have them shipped to my relative's house in the USA. I've sent you a payment via PayPal. Do you think they will make it there before Nov 26th? (crossing fingers!) Cheers!!!

The bad news is that I'm back in hospital, so I'm afraid all bets are off until I'm home.

Just checking in to see how you are doing, Nigel? Not sure where things got left with this order and hoping you are no longer in hospital. :)

Willemr

Hi Nigel,
any chance to get 6 switches?

Oh dear- that is really too bad. I am so sorry to hear this news.... :'(

I am not sure if any administrator has taken over this forum or not? I have paid for switches back in October 2016 and didn't receive them as Nigel fell ill at the time. I understand he has since passed away and am very sorry to hear this. Is there anyone reading this that might be able to ship the switches or refund the transaction? It was via PayPal. Thanks in advance.

Yngmar

I don't think anyone but Nigel's immediate family has access to either the funds or the switches, and they probably have other matters on their minds right now. I'm afraid you'll probably have to source new switches elsewhere - perhaps one of you wants to arrange a new group buy (please make a new thread if you do).

Thank you for reply. I do understand that his family will need time. However, I paid for the switches in October 2016 and have not received them due to Nigel's illness and then his passing I have waited several months out of respect for his situation.I am not able to get a refund through PayPal at all, PayPal has advised that the recipient of the funds would need to reverse/refund my money. It's about $36 CAD.... Also, does anyone know the specifics on these switches so that I might purchase some on my own?

It's an unfortunate situation, but I'd have thought you could in fact get a refund from PayPal. You'd need to start an Item Not Received dispute, then escalate it to a claim.  See the Help pages on the PayPal website.

I've locked this thread, as this group buy is concluded. Simon is kindly organising a new group buy in this new thread :)
