Lewmar pro 1000 windlass maintenance

Happy Easter everyone.

Can anyone explain how to remove the main cover off the casing?

I removed disk and gypsy but the damn cover opens only about 5 to 8mm then it stops. Also removed the seal ring as its a good idea to replace.

Watched all youtube videos and no help at all for the cover.

Any help is welcome.
