Lewmar low profile hatch handle broke off

 The hatch handle for our Lewmar low-profile hatch fell off today when the Genoa sheet got caught under it. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any suggestions as to how to glue it back on? 5200 by 3m or JB weld maybe? The hatch glass is acrylic.
