I have had a problem with my shore supply tripping the marina supply stand.  Rain water would accumulate in the power socket inlet due to the raked angle.  My wife came up with a £2.99 solution, so I thought I would share it with fellow owners.  A simple sink plunger did the trick.

I had the same problem but replaced the female connector for shore power, my original bavaria one similarity, kept getting wet.
Also very simply made a loop in in the cable just prior to the plug with a cable tie to stop water tracking along the wire and into the plug.

Good stuff DT, but too often overlooked. Also provide a little shelter with some plastic sheet taped to the transom so that driving rain does not land directly onto the plug. Not great having the water filling point so close to the electric connection either.
