On my 32 the heads have come off 4 fare-lead screws, leaving the broken off embedded screws. they are a narrow screws, so too small to use an extractor drill. Has anyone drilled one out successfully. I fear as the GRP is softer than the metal the drill will just run down the side of the old screw and the new screw will not be in the right position

Use a small stainless steel drilling bit and drill at slow speed that's most important!

Left hand spiral cobalt drill bit at low speed.

With all respect the fairleads should be held in place by bolts, backing plates and nylock nuts. I had a fairlead pulled off by the mooring line! Thankfully it had not sunk but was discovered just hanging on the rope.
