Anchor Light Not Working

The anchor light on our 2003 B36 has stopped working.  It is not the LED (replaced with a filament bulb & a new LED to test) so presumably a connection somewhere.  I've had a rummage above the removable panel in the saloon at the mast and can find no joins there - have I just not found them or are there really no joins / connectors there meaning if ever the mast had to be unstepped all the wires would just have to be cut and subsequently re-joined?

If there are no joins there then I suspect connectors on the masthead light unit itself.  The tricolour is still working.

Any similar experiences?

Thanks,

Andy

Only way to find out is to go up with a meter and test at the bottom of the connector. Also test if you can get it working with a wire connected to negative and then positive.

Note that is this is the LED, they may need to go a certain way around.

Yep that's probably the only way, unless anyone knows for sure if there is usually a join lower down that I can look for & test first!  The LEDs I have are not polarity conscious, so it's not that!

There is a connector under that panel. Pull the wires down and you should find a heavy duty choc block - at least there is on my 37.

Thanks for that, I'll have another look.
