No sound/fire proofing on heads engine access cover?

In my Bav 30, the heads-engine hatch has no sound proofing.
Is this normal?  I've only looked at one other and that was similar.
I'd like to fit some, but wanted to check first whether there's something missing on mine?

There's no insulation on the hatch on my 2014 Cruiser 37.  I'm not worried about it.
