Hej !
I have just bought a Bavaria 32 Cruiser, 2005. removing the VHF i noticed:
- On the back of the 201 panel, there is a flat cable just hanging loose - not connected.
- Unfortunatly there are two sockets that seem to fit. But which - and what are they for ?
See attached photo, where blue 1 and 2 are the open sockets, and the red 3 is the loose flat cable.
(has it something with battery monitoring to do?)

Best regards    /Bengt

Don't have the same panel, but those look exactly like the water tank level senders on our boat. Which would explain why there is one plug but two sockets - the panel supports two tanks but the boat only has one. So plugging it in should enable the tank level and you just try which one is the right one.

Thank you !  Now i know where to put the cables, and possibly what they do ...

I believe it is water level, but may also be black water level in the same harness.  Possibly was unplugged because the sensor is faulty, or not reading the levels.  You may be unplugging it again.

I had problems with ""Water Tank Level Indicating System"".
The PCB and Sensors were faulty.
I replaced both Sensors and Meters. I used a totally insulated system as the boats are "floating earth". You should not use a system where sensors only has one connection and Earth. Potentiometer is in the water... not good,
The cost was app 60 Euro for each Tank. I used some of the cable bores of old system. Meter responds perfectly with selector switch.
If anybody is interested drop a line,,,
Regards.
