Retractable thrusters

We have a 2015 Vision 42 with retractable thrusters. One of them hammers when we try to retract it. Any thoughts?

It sounds to me like the retractable thruster you are referring to has met some kind of obstruction before reaching the microswitch that would otherwise determine the point when the thruster was fully retracted. The electronics are trying to retract the thruster but the hammering is where it is thumping against the obstruction. Maybe something is loose and the thruster has become misaligned and now cannot fully retract because part of it is obstructed.
