Does anyone know the RAL number for a 2014 Cruiser 37?

I think I've read it may be 9016.

If you are in the UK Clipper Marine stock the OE gel coat. I have used it on a 2015 boat and it is perfect match.

Thanks Symphony,

Unfortunately, I'm in the US.  I'm almost certain that gelcoat cannot be shipped across.

Hello all,

I contact Clipper Marine in the UK and the gelcoat is in fact RAL9016.
There are several domestic suppliers in the US.  I'm a fan of the paste kit that Spectrum sells.

There is also another outfit, Dolphinite, that offers gelcoat in an aerosol can, ready to spray.  They will color match with a sample.

Well, I ordered a quart of 9016 gelcoat from Spectrum color in Florida, USA.  Interesting enough, the can had "traffic white, Beneteau" on it.  It's a much brighter white than my Bavaria Hull, which is a bit cream in color.
Did Bavaria use a different gelcoat in 2014 for US bound boats?

Anything is possible, but one would have to wonder why in a factory set up to produce boats as quickly and efficiently as possible and with the minimum of costly interruptions, and where and how would such colour changes benefit Bavaria's bottom line??

Reminds me of one of Henry Ford's sayings about cars, "you can have it any colour you like so long as its......... !!

Gel coats change colour over time so not surprising the original does not match. Matching existing gel coat is an art and it may be worth talking to a good GRP repairer about matching your existing finish.
