Hi
Boat been out the water for a while and managed to get engine running in boatyard today prior to launch in a few weeks.   The engine oil light and alarm sound with key turned to first, before start position before and then fine once running, oil light goes off and no alarm....is this normal?  I can't remember to be honest if this was how it was before.....can anyone let me know?

Yes, the Volvo panel is a bit odd.  The alarm and light work initially so you know that they will work if needed.  If there's no alarm when the engine's running, you can assume all is well.
