Depends on the length, diameter and routing of the exhaust hose.

Total capacity is just under 5l. The standard Volvo muffler or the Vetus WLOCKR45 are this size. The size is determined by the volume in the exhaust not the size of the engine, so this size does all engines up to about 50hp with up to 50mm exhaust. The 2 types are almost directly interchangeable but the Vetus is a bit shorter and needs to have some form of mounting to hold it in place, just as the Volvo one does.
