diameter of rudder post for 2003 Bavaria 38

Hello, I am working on installing an auto-helm into my 2003 Bavaria 38.
I measured the diameter with a caliper but I'm not sure my fingers were long enough.  My measurement was 2&3/8" or 60.4 mm.
Can anyone verify or correct my measurement?
Does Bavaria have a place I can look up this spec?

Tip: If your calipers are too short, you can always measure the circumference and divide by ?.

Does anyone know the diameter of the rudder post for a 2003 Bavaria 38?  Metric or English. Just need the diameter.

The rudder post tapers, so the post at the bottom bearing is bigger than the post at the top bearing.  Best plan is to look at the jefa.com website, where you'll find drawings and dimensions of the rudder.

I ended up emailing jefa, who in-turn sent me to their U.S. distributor.   Turns out there are several models of Bavaria 38s in 2003, so I had to give them the hull number.  Once they had that they could give me a diagram.

The rudder post DOES have varying dimensions, but in a step-wise manner rather than a tapered (cone) shape. The numbers on mine were 63mm main shaft, then 60 above the seal, then 50 where the shaft attaches to the pulley unit.   Your millage may vary.
