stickers on Seldén rig

I want to change the burned by the sun stickers with the SEDÉN logo on my B39CR2006 rig. Does anyone know how to safely remove the old ones without damaging the aluminum?

PVC stickers (if they are) can be easily removed with a hot air gun and a plastic scraper.

I found that even after removing stickers, the aluminium has changed color enough over time so that the burnt-in negative remains visible. My boom still reads "buechi yachting". No polishing would help.
