Hi,
The fuel gauge on my B30 is 0-190 ohms and does not show it correctly. The indicator on the SVB24 site is 10-180, is this what it should be? I would appreciate it if anyone with knowledge on this subject could share it.

My experience shows that no fuel tank gauge works corect

Bavaria fuel gauges are hopeless.  I think it's a result of the shape of the tank.  It would no doubt be possible to calibrate a sender so that the gauge reads accurately, but it'd probably be more trouble than it's worth.  I use engine hours as an indicator of remaining tank contents.

We brim fill the tank when taking diesel but only need to do so less than once a year.  Before we refill I draw a little picture, in the log book, of the gauge and needle position so when we add a known volume of fuel to fill the tank we have built up a calibration.

That's OK if the needle actually moves.  On my gauge, it shows full until there's perhaps only a quarter of a tank left, when the needle drops.

Hi,
I will continue calculating engine lt/h When there is 1/4 fuel remaining, the needle moves 1 cm max.
Thanks all,

We were travelling from Denia to Ibiza ,the gauge quickly started bouncing empty ,then stopped altogether. We still had 3 hours to go,we had claculated that there was ample fuel but it was worrying. When we filled up, we still had 32 litres left in the tank.Relief all round.
