Post by: Odysseus on August 31 2015, 11:36
Maintenance day, new seal behind thottle arm, this is not an as new replacement but a seal that keeps water out.

Remove black cover.

Remove plunger and undo bolt.

Use hub pluller to get arm off tappered spline.

Replace seal

Re grease spline.

Job done 10 mins

Hope this helps

Unfortunately the quality if that "original" neoprene seal is very lousy. Mine starts crumbling already after one year.
I made before one out of a piece of neoprene yoga mat and put in addition a tie wrap around, that worked for longer.

Hello,

Do you know the maker of the throttle or where I can find some of parts for it?

When I bought my b36, the plunger and the rubber cover were missing and I have now a lousy replacement.

Thanks
