Title: Wanted: Lewmar portlight seals
Post by: Copprhead on November 18 2015, 22:00
The seals on three of my Lewmar Flush Mitre portlights (2011 Cruiser 32) have started to fall apart. Does anyone know where we can get a replacement? Original or third-party alternative?

If you look under the "Home" menu, there is a posting in Bavaria Yacht Help where Stuart needed help regarding Lewmar hatch sizes, and in one of the replies the following web site provides a lead to Seateach and an area dedicated to Bavaria yacht hatches, port lights and seals, so can I suggest you look there http://www.bavariayacht.info/forum/index.php/topic,1146.0.html

Late reply, however seals on my 46 cruiser from 2014 also deteriorated.
I had someone take the port lights apart and put together again using a special silicone, problem solved!

I have purchased window seals from Eagle Boat Windows before now, available by the metre at very good prices.

You can get them from Aquafax in Hamble.
