Title: Schuko 220v socket
Post by: PEA-JAY on November 29 2015, 13:36
Can anyone tell me from where I can obtain Schuko sockets for the cabin 220v circuit. I wish the black ones with a spring loaded flap cover. Thanks, Raph.

In any country that normally uses Schuko sockets, which is much of mainland Europe with a few exceptions. There's a huge range available from most German electricians suppliers. The words you're looking for are:

Kopp is a popular brand and the RCD on my boat is also a Kopp (my sockets are, unfortunately, UK ones).

Here's one (http://www.amazon.de/Kopp-920826067-Schutzkontakt-Steckdose-erh%C3%B6htem-Ber%C3%BChrungsschutz/dp/B00BBAYPNQ) (although in brown). You'll also want the matching frame (http://www.amazon.de/Kopp-308426085-Paris-Abdeckrahmen-1-fach/dp/B000VDEXHM/), which is sold separately because it can be combined in single, duo or triple outlets or other units (such as switches, antenna sockets, etc.).
