I look forward to any input regarding installing davits for a dinghy on my 46 Cruiser from 2014.
I am thinking of davits, which will spoil the transom a bit as my boat has the lowering swim platform.
Alternative is storing on the foredeck, but then it will be over the hatches in the front cabin.
Is there perhaps a special cradle that can be used for storing the dinghy on the foredeck?
I just got the boat and am fairly new to sailing.

Have a look at Snap Davits. They might work well if you attach them to the back of your swim platform.
