Title: Prop anodes
Post by: Odysseus on March 24 2016, 15:23
Don't forget to paint around the bolt holes on your prop anodes, but not inside hole. Must have contact. They will last a lot longer.
Hope this helps.

A very good tip -  thanks. I replaced my main anode (even though it was only 30% reduced after 8 years) due to erosion around the retaining screw recess as there was the potential for this to fail. When she is next out I will paint around the area of both retaining screws to reduce the same thing happening on the current anode.
