I've just taken one out! There was no loom in my 2000 B47.

Same. Someone actually bought the CD changing contraption on eBay. I've always wondered who still uses CDs :)

There's no wiring for any of this, but evidently a previous owner had installed a car stereo with car speakers in the main cabin cupboard. This worked well except that they've used the supplied (non-stainless) screws, which of course rusted and were a total pain to get out of the wood. I've kept the speakers and wiring and replaced the casette(!) radio and CD changer with a modern Bluetooth/USB/Aux input unit.

Me! I've got a 25yr old good hi-fi and properly stored CDs. Excellent sound reproduction. Figaro's got a new USB + ipod car radio with a cd player.

All sorted I hard wired it in. I ended up fitting a bluetooth only radio as we  dont use cd's . I fitted 2 speakers in the saloon and 2 waterproof speakers in the cockpit.
