Title: Volvo 2020D water pump?
Post by: Salty on September 04 2016, 11:53

Does anyone know specifically which raw water pump is fitted to the MD2020 D engine, mine is from 2002, and the bearing and seal identification numbers. The seal on mine has just gone and needs to be changed. Thanks for any help.

Bought several times in the past from them - very helpful and respond by mail.
One time I was not sure about a certain part - sent them some info from the engine nameplate and they sorted this out.

Many thanks Lyra, I'm not sure if it's just the seal ring or if I need the bearing as well (which I probably do), and whether the "sea water pump wear kit includes the bearing, so I'll contact them in the morning. Thanks again.

Thanks again Lyra for the tip, I've ordered the seawater pump shaft kit which includes a replacement shaft, two bearings, two circlips, and a bearing seal. Also ordered was a set of new cover plate screws. Cost £72.69 including postage. Now for the fun part of fitting it 👹
