We recently got a Bavaria 38 Holiday fron year 2000.
Inside most (80%) of the woodwork is in good condition, but there are a few areas that need attention, see photos.
Anybody got good tips for how best to tackle this?

The hardwood trim is relatively easy to refurbish. Sand down the areas where the varnish is breaking down. Use something like 240 grit to start with and then finer. If there is discolouration in the wood then either bleach or oxalid acid will remove it. Clean then recoat in a satin varnish such as Ronseal polyurethane which blend in well with the original. You may find you have to do the whole length of the moulding, including the parts that are sound. They will need a light sand and a clean with white spirit.
Thanks to the Australian sun, the timber in my companionway had suffered a bit. I sanded it with a fine grit, removed the dust and cleaned the surfaces with methylated spirits to remove any oil residues. I applied two coats of Alkathane, a Feast Watson polyurethane for floors, which returned the timber to a bright durable gloss.
