Just thought I'd let folks know that I've just been dealing with SVB for a new transom bumper, after advice from an earlier thread. I went originally to Clipper Marine who were helpful but didn't have the bumper in stock and had quite a long lead time. They also quoted me a price of about £230 plus vat plus carriage.
SVB had the bumper in stock, for just under €200 including vat with an €8.99 Europe wide delivery charge. Ordered on Monday, dispatched Tuesday am, tracked delivery, arrived on my doorstep on Friday. Well impressed with the service and price.
I have used them before for a replacement stanchion...like you say, good service.
Bought a new cooker from them.
Very prompt service and cheap delivery to UK.
Also use them for many Bavaria specific items.
