Title: Anchor for a 2011 Bavaria 36 Cruiser
Post by: john102345 on March 05 2019, 17:19
Hi Everyone
Quick question " Does a Rocna 15kg or 20 kg anchor fit a standard 2011 Bavaria 36 cruiser?"
I currently have a cqm anchor & want to upgrade to something a bit better Spoke to Clipper & there man mentioned the Lewmar Delta as an alternative but was not sure if the Rocna would fit.

I ask about the 15kg or 20kg as an option looking at the spec sheet for Rocna the 15kg version is well within spec for the 36 crusier.
Would anybody offer any wisdom?

Thanks
John
Also why is there 5 verification questions to complete a post all the same ones everytime surely 1 or 2 would suffice! Feels like Day skipper Theory again.

Rocna supply dimensioned drawings to help you determine if their anchor will fit. The usual constraint, common to many modern anchors is the clearance for the roll bar. The 16kg Delta will almost certainly fit. A good chandler stocking Rocnas will probably lend you one to check physically.

If the bow configurations are the same for a 2005 36 Cruiser, a 15kg will fit. I have one mounted and used for 2 years with no issues.  I have no knowledge of whether a 25kg will fit.

Pictures if needed in a couple days.
