Title: Companionway rubber inserts
Post by: Krill on July 06 2019, 19:52
Where might I find the rubber inserts for the companionway steps?

Boat is a 2006 bav30

Here is a pic (hopefully)

Thanks

You could try Clipper Marine at Swanwick, they carry a range of Bavaria odds and bits, don't know if companionway rubber strips would be included. Your revamp of the companionway area looks good.

It looks like the stuff some o-rings are made from. You can buy strips of the material to glue into an or-ring, for example https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Metric-Black-Rubber-O-Ring-Material-Sold-Per-Metre-1-4mm-To-8-4mm-Thickness/371853949652?hash=item569438fad4:m:mUC7SdVrQR9uguiB5d6VnnQ

Is this the stuff? Your photo is rather indistinct.
