Title: B36 2003 - MS25S Propeller Pitch

Hello, I have a 2003 Bavaria 36 with a Saildrive MS25S fitted with a 16 inch two blade VP prop. Can anyone say what prop pitch these sail drives were originally supplied with: 11 inch or 13 inch?

Hi Dave

I've a b34 it was 11" pitch but have now changed to Burtons 3 blade auto prop. Engine is  a 29HP Volvo penta

My Bavaria 36 built 2002 was supplied with an aluminium two bladed 16" diameter x 11" pitch propeller driven by an MD2020 engine (19 HP). If you have a different engine, then it's odds on the boat will have been supplied with a different propeller.

My 2000 B36 with an MD2030 (29HP) engine has the 17x14 LH two bladed prop as listed in the owners manual. As Salty has highlighted, it will depend on engine power.
