Title: What does this site look like in non-IE browsers?
Post by: Nigel on October 20 2011, 10:36
I'm still working on this site, and have just added an "Add to Favorites" button on the Home (http://www.bavariayacht.info) page. In theory, this should only appear to users with Internet Explorer (hopefully IE4 and higher), but I don't easily have the means to test that it doesn't break the page for other users (I like my IE9!).

I attach a picture of what it should look like in IE. If you have another browser does it look OK, but without the gold Favorites Star? No need to post pictures, just a yes or no would be fine.

Note that users of other browsers can use CTRL+D or CTRL+F to add the page (I think!)

Thanks for the replies. I had in fact messed up, but I've fixed it now. The Favorites star should only appear in compatible browsers.

Looks good with Firefox 10 on Linux Centos 6.1 however I had to increase the font size with Ctrl + since it was challenging my sight.

Everything seems to be working fine in Safari 5.0.6 on Mac OS 10.5.8
