I am in the process of replacing the rope for the outhaul car for the selden furling mast (B39CR 2005). I cannot find the rope specifications. Someone knows the breaking load and diameter of this rope?. I only know the lenght: 17 mts.
We have a B39 2006. From memory it's 10mm braid, but really just needs to be the correct size for the jammer. That size of rope will be more than strong enough for this application.
10mm braid on braid will be fine. That is the original spec. sew the new line onto the end of the old, cover the join with tape so it is smooth and pull the new line through.
