Hi,
I've recently changed all the internal halogen bulbs for LED, and what a huge difference it makes. I now want to change all the external bulbs from halogen/filament to LED.
I need to change the following bulbs.
1) Anchor light
2) Steaming light
3) Deck flood light
4) Bow Port & Starboard light (I believe it's one bulb)
5) Stern light
Our yacht is a Bavaria 42 Cruiser built in 2007 and commissioned and launched in 2008. Would anyone on the forum know what bulbs I need to order for the above list? I have a rigger doing a rig inspection for us next month, and I was going to get him to change the steaming light, deck flood light and anchor light whilst he was up the mast. hi, with regard to the bow light i believe you have to get the correct colour temp for the led bulb as the wrong type gives off a blue light instead of green, sorry ime not sure what temp this should be ,but maybe someone else will reply with the answer .
For anchor light and deck flood light the change is straight forward, because there is a 360° angle of radiation.
All other bulbs should not be changed to LED, because the filaments of the original bulbs have another characteristic in the angle of radiation as the LED ones have.
I would suggest to change the whole lights instead of changing only the bulbs.

Hi, except for the deck flood light, it should be BAY15D bulbs.
