Title: Bilge under the floor in front of nav station seat?
Post by: Croatian Sailing on May 25 2022, 00:17
Is their a small bilge in between the nav station and seat on a Bavaria 30 from 2007? Is their a diagram somewhere with all the bilges?

No diagram but a photo of the cellar.

Yup I've taken those off, but what's beneath the board directly in front of the nav seat, the small triangular board that's propped up a bit higher??

I'd guess the hull.

Aye, it'll just be the hull curvature, that's where the floor matrix ends.

The water is also hidden in the hollow frames. I dried it once (after engine service by stupid people) and now again after two salt based humitity dryers capsized in winter (my stubitity, after hours of cleaning flooding my boat with fresh water).
BUT: There is another pocket of water in front of our Diesel tank. Dive in  your locker, open the floor and look in the cellar. I gave up at this point. Observing, emptying once a year, and putting it on my task list

It's really a shame these covers are bolted down and not easy to open. Would be a good place to keep some water bottles or cans.
