hi can anyone explain how to read the sail drive seal date, I mean the 2 arrows inside the date stamp one has an outer dial going from 0 to 5 the other goes from 0 to 9.
thanks
Phil
Presumably the dial with 5 numbers is the decade in which it was made; the dial with 10 numbers would be the year within that decade. It's recommended to replace the sail drive diaphragm every 7 years. Nobody has ever heard of a catastrophic failure of a diaphragm, but if you don't replace it in line with recommendations, your insurance could be void if you do have a problem.
last time I changed mine the dare was moulded in 2011 etc form .Geoff
