I never have used a spinnaker snuffer before and I found out very useful.
I have seen that the snuffer hasn't been used very much for the previous owner but even though the sleeve for the rope, which is made out of spinnaker cloth (not very thick by the way, probably 0,5), is broken in several places because the retrieving rope rubs against the fabric.
The rope is 10mm thick. Isn't it too thick? Has anyone used dyneema core which can be softer? Does anyone has the sleeve made out of a different type of cloth? Any comments will be welcome.
