Does anyone know the dimensions and displacement of the Bav 40 center cockpit ocean?

I was looking at an Ocean 40 and it did not seem any longer than my 38. also the mast was no talle, which makes me think that it will not be as fast.
Hi the 38 ocean and 40 ocean are very similar , only real diff is stern locker volume. My 40 would swallow all I can throw at it and the 38 will hold a couple of small fenders. I'm not sure of the 38 but the 40 sails very well indeed. Sail area is 73.1 LWL 10.95. Yachting monthly feb 2001 tested it, and seemed to approve, my 12+ years ownership would agree Geoff
My 2001 Bav40 is the 2cabin version with very large storage locker on port side which holds bagged zodiac, foldup bike and fishing rods, fenders etc .It is also deep enough to accommodate the outboard engine stored vertically.
Having said that I must confess to suffering "footer's disease" and dream of swapping to a 42 or 44 for the extra storage space!
