Just wanted to check - if I bleed the fuel lines up to the fuel injection pump do I have to crack the pipes to the injectors as well or will they self bleed?
Thanks
No, you won't have to as any air in the injector pipes and the injectors themselves will be purged by the injector pump and returned to the fuel tank via the fuel return drain pipes ( those little pipes joining the injectors in a line ) when you crank the engine, it'll take a few turns but it'll fire up fine...........
Thanks, one less job!
I don't bother bleeding up to the pump - if you keep pressing the rubber bulb on the filter housing the whole lot will self-bleed.
