Title: Headlining Colour
Post by: Scorcher IV on September 24 2024, 19:53
Hi, does anyone know of a supplier for the headlining material which is a foam backed vinyl. I am also after the original colour chart for Bavaria. I have a C37 which has been leaking through the two fixed windows in the deck behind the mast. The backing ply is rotten as a result of the leaks but will be easy enough to remake. Just need the vinyl to cover it now.

Hi,

On our previous Bavaria 300 from 1990, I experienced the same problem and I completely refurbished the interior with the same foambacked vinyl as used in later Bavaria's.
The manufacturer is Dutch, but their supplies are available globally:

You will need to glue this with specific solvent free glue which is a bit tricky to work with. The bonding does not immediately take place so in my case I needed some additional hands to glue the panels in situe again
