I am continuing my work on writing simple, practical sailing guides about safety and seamanship.
The new page is about preparing the boat and crew before heavy weather arrives. It covers things like reefing early, preparing for night sailing, jacklines, loose gear, food and water, engine readiness, drogues/sea anchors, checking gear after hard weather, and documenting weak points for next time.
It is not written as an expert authority. It is meant as a practical guide from one sailor to other sailors, and I would very much like feedback from people with offshore or heavy-weather experience.
What is wrong?
What is missing?
What should be explained better or more simply?

This also connects a little to my SailingKSF project, but the page itself is mainly seamanship-first: prepare early, keep control margin, and make the boat easier to manage before conditions become difficult.
Stay safe
