I have just checked the heads outlet on my b36 and there are signs of corrosion has anyone any experience of replacing fittings Or any tips . Can anyone confirm if the fitting that goes through the hull is 1 1/2 inch.

Yes 1 1/2". Probably worth doing all of them - rest are 3/4" and replace the outlet hose with sanitary grade butyl. Replacement fittings should be DZR or bronze and valves DZR. As suggested best way of removing is to gribd off the inside of the skin fitting so the flange falls of rather than struggling to undo from the inside.

Agree with comments of Odysseus and Symphony. I replaced all 4 sea cocks in the heads on my Bav 37/2007 last month. Was on the slips and two above waterline came away easily but two below were a struggle. Shipwright did both in the end for around $80 AUD. Shipwright used 2 large screwdrivers on outside of hole in a crossed sword pattern (this held flange/oulet steady while I undid from inside). Two person job but worked ok.

We had a similar situation 3 years ago on our B38 where the 1.5in aft heads seacock (red handle type) lever sheared off in my hand.
So when the boat was hauled out for the winter we decided to replace them all with Forespar Marelon seacocks as then there would no more corrosion worries and they cost less than replacing with DZR or bronze.
As others have mentioned getting the old ones out proved to be less than straightforward but the easiest method turned out to be to use an angle grinder on the outside and grind off the outer 'mushroom/dome'. It didn't take long and then the old seacock could easily be punched back in through the hull from outside the boat.
Well worth doing ( whether you use DZR, Bronze or Marelon ) just for the peace of mind.
Like others. Did all 4 of mine too about 2 months ago. To repeat again, take the flanges off the outside either by a cone drill or a grinder (they are very soft so grind easily - no sparkes (wear goggles though) just be careful not to touch the hull. Then lift them out from the inside. Mine were all off in about 30 mins. Get DZR/Bronze/plastic replacements (you have the sizes above). ASAP supplies is where I went.
None of the cone drills I've found will drill out large enough.

Last time I did it, I just used a small angle grinder to gently remove the angle on the inside of the hole in the flange. The flange then just drops off, and the seacock can be pushed in to the boat. Quick and easy. No risk of damaging gelcoat.

Up to 40mm, surely that isn't big enough, the OD of 1 1/2" BSP is about 45mm.
There are bigger ones, you would have to phone them.
