On my B32 (2003) the starboard Genoa sheet has a habit of falling to the winch base if pulled in with no tension, this can result in a riding turn. I suspect it is caused by the line up of the starboard winch to the Carr roller. Does anyone suffer from this and if so is there a way of avoiding it.
We are familiar with this on our B37, if you have more than 2x turns on the winch, whilst pulling on the sheets with no load.
We pull sheets on with only 2x turns on the winch, and once the slack has been taken out of the sheets, take another two turns before securing in the self tailer. Never seen another over-ride since.
Also familiar on my B30. Not a big issue in practice, but that seems like an interesting solution, Konan.
Yup, occasionally get the same thing on our 2009 B31 when not under tension...
