Hi
Boat just in water and turned on water pump and found shower is leaking.  Looks like ice has cracked the main body underneath, never thought to drain it or open taps so water in body cracked the metal.  Is this just a standard shower thermostatic shower that I could buy from plumbers merchant or is there anythind I am missing.
Thanks
John

For my B42 cruiser I have used hardware store available replacements in Greece.

It looks to me that your system has already been modified with an addition from your local plumbers merchant as all other Bavaria's of that age that I've seen so far, had a tap system that incorporated a shower hose that could be tucked away inside the tap fitting, and didn't have the rather more sophisticated thermostatic control that you have.

In the past I have found Penguin Engineering very helpful particularly for obscure items. They are on Hayling Island.
Check out their website.

All the ocean range [centre cockpit ] have thermostatic  showers. They are standard plumbers merchant items.  Geoff
