Swim platform gas spring Bavaria cruiser 40 2013

Anybody has experience in replacing these. Mine have absolutely no force to them anymore. I have to lift the whole weight of the platform when I put it down or up.

They are labelled for Cruiser 32... I am reluctant to order them for my cruiser 40. Anybody KNOWS that these units are the ones I need?

Any luck about fixing that? I have exactly the same issue with my Bavaria 40 2012. One of my friend who had the same issue fixed it replacing the gas springs with custom made ones. They were 2300N springs.

What is the size of your swim platform? The rating of the gas spring will be to overcome the weight of the swim platform. If your Cruiser 40 platform is the same size as my Cruiser 32 platform, it stands to reason that the gas spring will have a similar rating.

Did you find out which gas spring stregth and dimensions fit your Bavaria Cruiser 40 swim platform ? My 41 Cruiser would be the same, and I also need to change them.

The spring on my platform (Bavaria 41 2014) stopped working completely a week ago.
