B39 2006 Shower Drain Pump

Our shower drain pump sounds as if it's on the way out, so I plan to buy a spare.
Boat is in Greece & I forgot to make a note of the Make and Type. Does anyone have this information?

It seems strange that they cost over £200, considering the Aqua King fresh water pump which supplies 4 outlets cost about £80.

The shower drain pumps are just diaphragm pumps, it doesn't matter which manufacturer or model it is. You just need to match the size of the hose connectors to the hose you have. The flow rate should be the same or higher as the freshwater pump. Pressure rating doesn't really matter.

If you're smart, you buy the same exact pump as the one on the freshwater system. That way you can swap them in an emergency (after a clean), use the same spares and the shower sump gets pumped out at the same speed the water runs into it.

The triple diaphragm models tend to cost around €50-70 depending on the model.

Pressurised fresh water pump operates automatically on demand activated by pressure switch. Shower pump out requires manual switching so I don't understand how they are interchangeable?

The pressure switch is an optional item, you don't have to wire it in - but there's no harm in doing so, the pump will never reach the cutoff pressure when used for the shower and simply keep pumping (unless you perhaps close the shower outlet).
