Bonjour,
Connaissez-vous un chantier naval, en Sicile, sûr, sérieux  et...pas trop cher, où l'on peut hiverner son voilier, à terre, du mois de septembre au mois d'avril ?
Merci par avance de vos informations.

Having received no response to my previous message written in French .... I try my luck again with a message in English : Do you know a shipyard, in Sicily or in Tunisia, safe, serious and... not too expensive, where you can winter your sailboat, on land, from September to April?
Thanks in advance for your information

I'd seriously consider Preveza, Greece. Not much further, much better prices and much more space. There's three huge storage yards on the Aktio peninsula next to each other - get quotes from all three, the prices vary each year depending on which is fullest. They're also much more DIY friendly (except Cleopatra, I think) than the Italians and much less dodgy than the Tunisian yards, at least in our experience.

Another vote for prevesa  . I spent  3 years based there a while ago . We were in cleopatra which did cost a bit more but worked well . Geoff

Think you for your reply.
When you say they work well, is it for the boat and engine maintenance ?

They just seemed to be well run ,professional  and WERE reasonably priced [I was last there in 2012].Geoff

Malta has quite a few yacht yards and it's well connected to many major cities in Europe. Depends on what work you need doing really. Manoel Island Yacht Yard is probably the most versatile, the majority of staff are very friendly. Plenty of marinas are also within walking distance as is the shopping center and hundreds of restaurants etc always within walking distance!
