cabin sole refurb on 350

I have sanded back the cabin sole on my Bavaria 350 and it looks great.  Problem is that the varnish I have tried, including Epifanes, makes the teak and holly look very dark.  Can anybody tell me how I can get the original warm honey colour back?

Use a satin finish domestic floor varnish such as Ronseal
