I've registered the domain bavariayacht.org as final destination for these forums. Will move stuff over there when we're in our winter berth in a couple weeks (currently exploring up the Rio Guadiana and the 4G stick gets very confused switching between Portugal and Spain every few minutes). So please hold off on notifications, but afterwards it'd be a good thing to do. I'll then also spam every forum registrant with the new address too, which should get word out.

i think the problem is google search throws up the old address and nothing works , might be difficult to find new members as that's how i found "bavariayachtinfo" via google!

It's not a fake forum, it's just a snapshot of the forum from early July this year.  You'll see that there's no way of logging in, as you can't enter a password.  The domain name has just been grabbed by someone who probably hopes to sell it for a tidy sum one day.

Fake site might be better word instead of forum.

But it is issue anyway.
It would be important to get new URL up and running asap.

And after that send mass posting to all members by email...
