D1 30 glow plug light coming on when engine is running

Hi all ... First great to see site up and running again. 
problem is hold glow plug toggle to pre heat, then start engine. after about 10 secs. the glow plug light comes on.  changed toggle sw and glowplug relay but fault still exists.  Any thoughts

I had problem with 'false alarm' coming on (b37 2006 same as you). The wiring is not very well protected and I had to cut out connector box and use bullet connectors instead. Problem not come back since - 8 years

many thanks for that .  will be at boat tomorrow and examine that connector,

had a look at that connector and was in good shape.  Will continue to explore wiring. Jackho
