I own a Bavaria 33 Cruiser. The stove top has a fold back concertina cover which increases useable bench space in the galley.
Has anyone developed or found a retainer clip that can be used to stop the concertina cover from falling on top of the stove when sailing?  I am thinking about a stainless steel clip which is like the old clips used to hold the drafting paper in place on a drafting board.

Mine had a little webbbing strap fitted with a popper on the end.

As stated you should have a webbing strap with a press stud on the cover to clip on, photos showing webbing and stud, sorry quality no good when enlarged.

Same webbing strap on ours. Works absolutely fine :)

We found it was a nuisance anyway so have unscrewed it and have not missed it one bit. Now the kettle can stay on the stove and we can reach the stuff in the shelf behind with no problem.

Salty

On my B36 (2002) it was so badly scorched by charterers closing it down too soon after using the hob, that I took it off permanently. Cant say that I missed it, just got used to not having the thing.
