Fuel solenoid diode on D1-30.

My project to replace the MDI system on the above engine proceeds.

Can anyone help me with a diode type/size for the fuel solenoid to remove the back emf please.

Every universal diode (1N4001) should do that job. Connect the cathode(the side with the ring) to the (+)side of solenoid and anode to (-)/common.
