length of forestay of standard Bavaria 33 cruiser 2006

Hi all,

I'm looking for the length of the forestay of a bavaria 33 cruiser 2006, Or the size (all dimensions like Luff, Leach and foot) of a standard Genua on this boat . I want to buy a spare second hand genua, and the forestay length or Luff  is the most important.

Just measure the luff length of your existing Buying used sails is a gamble as few people sell sails that are any good. Also the size and cut of the sail is important and what suits one boat may not suit another. Most Bavarias of that era benefit from having a smaller higher cut foresail rather than the original.

Hi Flip, not my concern, but why would you like to have a second Genoa? Having a second sail has many other options, e.g. having a different size or different quality. I don't know your geographical area, but if you don't like to spend a lot of money, a budget new sail to your desires could work out as a better option?

Just checked with my sailmaker and the luff length is 11.9m you also need to ensure that the luff tape is correct for the Furlex. It is 6mm
